Seriously, conversations do tend to become "dumber" when people use the following statements as a replacement for intelligent conversation:

The discussion was about the use of instances in Guild Wars and the possibility of future additions of non-instanced or modified instanced areas.
Inevitably, WoW was referenced and it became a fixation for some people in the conversation.
